An event to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) suits and items for containing coronavirus was held at the meeting room of people’s hospital in the town of Natmauk, Magway Region this morning.

At the event, officials from the township Department of Disaster Management under Ministry of Social  Welfare, Relief and Resettlement donated 5000 pieces of surgical masks, 150 bottles of hand sanitizer, 1000 pieces of gloves and 100 sets of PPE to the hospital.

The donations were accepted by officials from Natmauk Hospital. Also present on the occasion were the township Administrator U Win Maung and departmental officials in the township.
