With the aim of narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas, the Department of Development for Border Areas and National Races under the Ministry of Border Affairs is targeting the socioeconomic development of rural areas.
Now, a rural road is being built in Mese Township, Bawlakhae District, Kayah State during 2020-2021 FY. The construction of Hogit-Taunghal rural road is being inspected by MPs of Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw, officials from Township Quality Control Committee and Township Administrator.
The rural road is being built with K 114.932 million allocated by funds of Union. Upon completion, it will bring safe and convenient transportation to the local residents.
