An event to donate food rations to the unemployed people and those who have low-income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic was held in front of Tharaphu tea shop in the town of Wetlet, Sagaing Region yesterday.

Under this food supply program, 300 families in the town of Wetlet received rice, packages of dried noodle, tinned fish and soaps.

Also present on the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Myint Thein, members of a charitable group and locals.
