A fire drill was conducted at the compound of Myoma market in the town of Theyet, Magway Region yesterday afternoon.

At the event, staff officer of the District Fire Services Department U Maung Maung Htway gave an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the drill. 

Afterwards, staff from the Township Fire Services Department orchestrated how to use fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area, and staff from the District Fire Services Department demonstrated how to use fire engines when a fire breaks out in the compound of Myoma Market.

Next, auxiliary fire fighters and locals practically extinguished fire using a fire extinguisher.
