MoSYA Union Minister inspects development undertakings in Lahe, Naga Self-Administered Zone

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan together with Naga Self-Admin­istered Zone Administration Body Chairman U Tun Tun Win and Secretary U Nay Min Thu visited Theravada Buddhist Mis­sionary (Central) Monstery in Lahe, Naga Self-Administered Zone, Sagaing Region yesterday morning and donated offertories and cash for nine prerequisites.

 

After that, the Union Min­ister visited the Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery and handed over the books and publications published by the Myawady Literature House, do­nated by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

 

The Union Minister viewed round the placement of fiction and non-fiction books at Knowl­edge Garden Library.

 

After that, the Union Minis­ter and party visited the Shwepyi­tha Sports Ground in Lahe where the Naga Traditional New Year Festival was held.

 

In accord with the guidance of the Head of State, the sports ground will be upgraded to a multi-purpose stadium facilitated with a synthetic runway.

 

The area of the football field will be systematically measured to bring it in line with the set standards.

 

The Union Minister urged officials and local authorities to coordinate the measures for ex­panding the land area. The Un­ion Minister stressed the need to make the lawns green, improve the water flow and maintain it for the long term after rebuilding the football field.—MNA/KZL
