The third day of the fifth meet­ing of the Eighth State Sangha Central Working Committee was held at the Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Mayangon Township of Yangon Region yesterday.

The meeting was attended by State Ovadacariya Sayadaws, State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaws, State Sangha Central Working Committee member Sayadaws, and other officials of relevant departments.

Secretary Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Bhaddanta Candhima Bhivamsa presided over the meeting on be­half of the Committee Chairman Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rat­tha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dr Bhaddan­ta Kumara Bhivamsa and Joint Secretary Sayadaw Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Pannadhaja acted as the master of ceremonies.

Afterwards, certificates of the State Vinaya Panel of Judges were presented to Sayadaws of the Separate State Vinaya Panel of Judges and the State Vinaya Panel of Judges.

Fifteen Ovadacariya Sayad­aws, Secretary Sayadaw, and a representative each from re­gion/state and Ganas signed the substitutions, decisions, confir­mations, and records made at the fifth meeting of the 8^th State Sangha Central Working Com­mittee recorded in the Religious History Book.

After the processes, the Sayadaws concluded the meet­ing successfully. — MNA/KTZH
