Union Minister for Invest­ment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw visited the Guandu Pilot Free Trade Zone in Kunming of Yunnan Province, China on Wednesday together with delegation lead­ers of Lancang-Mekong coun­tries such as Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam, who arrived in China to attend the Greater Mekong Economic Corridor Governor Forum.

 

They also visited Jun­fa-New Luosiwan Internation­al Trade City and Junfa-New Luosiwan International Trade Mall.

 

On arrival at China (Yun­nan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Union Minister and party observed the booths exhibit­ing Myanmar products at In­ternational Trade Enterprises Cluster Park and Internation­al Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center.

 

They also viewed round Tiktok Live Broadcasting Rooms at China-South Asia South East Asia Cross Border E-Commerce Industry Cluster of Guandu Ecommerce Indus­trial Park and discussed the investment opportunities and investment types structure of Myanmar.

 

Then, Mr Li Dehong, ad­ministrator of Guandu District, and CEO of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone clarified the current and future invest­ments of the pilot free trade zone.

 

The Union minister then met the scholars at Yun­nan Agricultural University. — MNA/KTZH
