Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn paid a visit to Yunnan Baiyao traditional medicine factory in Kunming yesterday morning.
The factory established in 1971 transformed its operation from the conventional to the modern manugfacturing system, continuously conducting the tests to enhance the quality of medications and produce new medical products.
The Union minister heard the brief history of the factory, production system and management measures by officials. Deputy Director Dr Myint Myat of Yangon Region Public Health Department who accompanied the Union minister asked he wanted to know.
Moreover, the Union minister visited China Tobacco Schweitzer plant established in 2011 and it launched operations in 2014. The plant manufactures products under the prescribed rules and regulations related to the health protocols. — MNA/TTA
