A delegation led by U Than Tun Oo, Chair of Nay Pyi Taw Council, departed from Yan­gon to the Russian Federa­tion by air yesterday evening to attend the International Transport Summit-ITS 2023 in Moscow.

Scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 August, the sum­mit is a collaborative effort involving the Department of Transport and Road Infra­structure Development of the Moscow government, as well as the Department of Foreign Business Communication and International Relations. The event aims to strengthen re­lationship between cities and foster future cooperation. It seeks to address the trans­portation challenges faced by modern capitals and establish a platform for global techni­cal experts to collaborate in finding solutions to transport issues. — MNA/TS
