Members of the local cantonment area under the Southern Command are selling foodstuffs at lower prices for the convenience of residents and departmental staff in Bokpyin Township, Tanintharyi Region, and to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price.
Foodstuffs including rice, noodle, edible oil, egg and vegetables were sold at lower prices than the ordinary market prices in the front of B.E.H.S. in the Town of Bokpyin. The local people and the families of the departmental staff enjoyed buying foodstuffs and are very grateful to officials for selling them at low prices during the difficult time.
Also present on the occasion were brigadier general Myo Set Aung from No. 13 Operation Command Headquarters in Bokpyin Township, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Zaw Win Htay, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung Win and members and departmental officials.—Township IPRD
