Monghpyak, 13 September
With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, construction work of concrete road has been implemented in Haunghing Village in Monghpyak Township of eastern Shan State since August 24 this year and all the projects have been completed 60 percent so far.
On September 12, responsible officials led by staff officer of the Township DRD Daw Khin May Lwin looked into the progress of the construction work and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance and instructed to meet set standards in the concrete-paving works.
The concrete road measuring 400 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and six inches in height is being constructed with K 12.03 million including K 9 million of DRD’s funds in this fiscal year and K 3 million contributed by local people.
Rural development projects have been implemented since 2014-2015 FY with K 30 million in Haunghing Village in Monghpyak Township.—Zin Mar(District DRD)
