Chief Justice of the Union U Thar Htay attended the stake-driving ceremony for new Insein District Court building, located on No 4 Highway in Danyingon ward, Insein Township, Yangon Region yesterday morning. The ceremony took place in the pavilion where the building will be constructed.
At the ceremony, Chief Justice of Yangon Region High Court Daw Sanda Thwe, Yangon Region Advocate-General U Htay Aung, Region Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Jacob Htoo, and the judges of the Yangon Region High Court, along with Yangon Region Judicial Officer U Kyaw Kyaw drove stakes at the designated places. The building is under construction in accord with the first year plan of the five-year judicial strategic plan 2023-2027 being implemented by the Supreme Court of the Union.
M Interior Design Co takes responsibility for construction of the building which will be 200 feet long and 140 feet wide, and will be a five-story reinforced concrete structure. — MNA/KZW
