State Administration Council Member Khun San Lwin, ac­companied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, state ministers, the state attorney-gen­eral, Chairman U Aung San Oo of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone administration body, and state-level officials, held a meet­ing in Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone yester­day. The meeting was attended by township-level officials, indig­enous cultural groups, and Pa-O entrepreneurs, and took place at the Hsaikhkawng Border Area Ethnic Development Youth Train­ing School.

 

The delegation visited Zawa­na Monastery in Hsihseng, pay­ing respects to the Sayadaw and making offerings. They also at­tended the inauguration of the new school building at Kantan Basic Education Post-Primary School in Hsaikhkawng village. This event was attended by the SAC member, the Shan State chief minister, state Security and Border Affairs minister, the chairman of the Pa-O Self-Admin­istered Zone administration body, and school officials. They marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tree planting.

 

The SAC member and party inspected the construction pro­gress of the Kyuntaung-Kyauktal­ongyi-Nungyasain-Saikhao-Pon Creek-Maukmae road, where the director of the Road Department presented an update, and the SAC member provided necessary instructions.

 

Finally, SAC Member Khun San Lwin met U Aung Kham Hthi, the Patron of the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) in Kyauk­talonggyi Township, enquiring about his health and presenting a portrait painting, medicine, and food items. — MNA/TS
