The Township Department of Rural Development implemented a concrete paving work of road in Kamawkachu Village in Hlaingbwe Township of Kayin State and now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
Officials from the District and Township Departments of Rural Development made an inspection tour this morning. During the inspection tour, officials met with responsible persons and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The concrete paving work of the road measuring 600 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume has been implemented since the fourth week of October, 2023 with K 16.0 million including K 15.0 million of DRD’s funds for 2023-2024 fiscal year and K 1.0 million contributed by local people. The road benefits 1120 people from 245 households in the village.—Soe Lwin(District DRD)
