Dr Min Zaw Oo, Director of the Mandalay Region Directorate of Investment and Company Ad­ministration, announced that two Myanmar citizen-owned invest­ments, capable of providing 319 job opportunities, were approved in January 2024.

 

The capital amounts for the new investments were K4,368.411 million, as indicated in the report.

 

Dr Min Zaw Oo stated, “The Mandalay Region Investment Committee’s 1/2024 meeting on 12 January gave the green light to the two investments run by Myanmar nationals. The con­struction period of another in­vestment by a Myanmar citizen has also been extended.”

 

The report highlights that in 2023 in Mandalay Region, the Myanmar Investment Commis­sion permitted 14 businesses and 10 by the Mandalay Region Investment Commission.
