As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, vaccination campaign against COVID-19 was conducted at the District People’s hospital in Thaton in Mon State this morning.

Medical workers led by Dr. Tha Oo from the District Department of Public Health vaccinated people aged 50 and above with COVID vaccine (Pfizer) in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.

Under this vaccination program, a total of 245 people received the vaccine. On the occasion, responsible officials from the Township COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment committee provided necessary assistance to medical workers.—(Thaton IPRD)
