Preparations are being made to success­fully hold a free and fair election, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

 

A ceremony held at the Credentials Hall of the State Administration Council Chair­man’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Sen­ior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials of Mr Gustavo Rocha de Menezes of Ambassador-Designate of Bra­zil to Myanmar and expressed the plan of holding the free and fair election.

 

They also cordially dis­cussed diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Bra­zil, cooperation and friendly relations measures, boosting bilateral trade, and coopera­tion in agriculture and live­stock sector.

 

Both sides also focused on cooperation in enhancement of sports sector, political pro­gress in Myanmar, and im­plementation of the five-point roadmap by the State Admin­istration Council for ensuring peace and stability of the State and development.

 

Also present at the meet­ing were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut and Direc­tor General of the Protocol Department U Wunna Han.— MNA/TTA
