U Nyan Tun, Union Minister for Electric Power, received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov at the Ministry office in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am yesterday.
During the meeting, they had a frank and cordial discussion on successes achieved by the two countries in all sectors, cooperation of Russian companies in hydropower, wind power, solar power, and thermal energy projects for the development of Myanmar’s electricity sector.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw, heads of department and officials from the embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar. — MNA/TS
