A ceremony to provide durable insecticide-treated mosquito nets to malaria-prone villages was held at Kyunyadana Hall in Kyunsu Township of Tanintharyi Region on November 29.

At the event, Dr. Ye Min Oo, head of the Township Department of Public Health handed over 4540 insecticide-treated mosquito nets to relevant village administrators and responsible persons from rural health clinics from 18 villages in the Township.

The Township Department of Public Health will continue to distribute durable insecticide-treated mosquito nets to 18 villages to protect local people from malaria.—Htet Myint(Kyunsu)
