Winter agricultural loans were disbursed to farmers who have already paid back the loans in 2023 fiscal year at the flat ground of Ngahtatkyi Pagoda in Kawa Township, Bago District of Bago Region at 10:00 am on 23 December.
First of all, U Min Naing, manager of the Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (branch), called on farmers to pay back the loans during the set date, and explained rules and regulations of the bank to be abode by farmers.
The bank dispenses K 100,000 per acre of farmland to farmers in the Township. As of now, the bank disbursed K 118.3 million of loans to 161 farmers from Ward-2 and Zayphalon Village in the Township for 1,183 acres of croplands.
The bank will continue to disburse the loans to the rest of farmers in the Township till the end of December 2024, according to the Myanma Agriculture Development Bank (branch).—Ye Zaw Hein (IPRD)
