YANGON Electricity Supply Corporation announced that from 18 to 24 January 2025, electricity bill payment coun­ters will be open daily from 8 am to 3 pm in Yangon.

 

On 15 January, a team led by YESC chair U Aung Kyaw Oo visited electricity offices in Kamayut and Sangyoung townships to conduct a field inspection into unpaid power bills and the electricity supply in rotation.

 

He highlighted electrical safety, prevention of fire haz­ards, and ensuring accurate statistics on electricity bill payments to prevent the gov­ernment from losing revenue.

 

Total power generation on 16 January is 37,040.6 mega­watts per hour, according to the Ministry of Electric Power. – Htun Htun/ZS
