YANGON Electricity Supply Corporation announced that from 18 to 24 January 2025, electricity bill payment counters will be open daily from 8 am to 3 pm in Yangon.
On 15 January, a team led by YESC chair U Aung Kyaw Oo visited electricity offices in Kamayut and Sangyoung townships to conduct a field inspection into unpaid power bills and the electricity supply in rotation.
He highlighted electrical safety, prevention of fire hazards, and ensuring accurate statistics on electricity bill payments to prevent the government from losing revenue.
Total power generation on 16 January is 37,040.6 megawatts per hour, according to the Ministry of Electric Power. – Htun Htun/ZS
