Kyaikmaraw, 20 January
Sunflower plantations covering 1,053 acres in several villages in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State, are thriving. The sunflowers were jointly planted by local farmers and departmental staff.
To ensure optimal growth, farmers are receiving essential support, including fertilizer imported from Russia, as part of efforts to secure a bountiful harvest.
Local officials, in close cooperation with the Department of Agriculture, are implementing key measures to ensure the success of the sunflower plantations.— Cho Myat Myat Htway (IPRD)
