STATE Ovadacariya Shwegyin Sangharaja Abhidhaja Ma­haratthaguru and Abhidhaja Aggamaha Saddhammajotika Sitagu Sayadaw Dr Bhaddan­ta Nyanissara, who is also the Chancellor of the Sitagu Inter­national Buddhist Academies and the founder of the Interna­tional Theravada Buddhist Mis­sionary University (ITBMU), delivered a Special Dhamma Talk yesterday at the ITBMU Seminar Hall. The event was attended by local and interna­tional students who currently enrolled in diploma to post­graduate programmes for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of ITBMU Rec­tor Aggamaha Pandita Maha Dhammakathika Bahujana Hit­adhara Dr Bhaddanta Chekinda and Pro-Rector (Academic) Dr Bhaddanta Nodhinana, along with lecturer monks and nuns. A total of 328 students from 21 countries participated in the event. — MNA/MKKS
