AS part of the “Mekong-Ganges Cooperation” initiative, an India-Myanmar Food Festival will be held at the Secretariat Yangon in February, according to the Embassy of India to Myanmar.
The festival is scheduled to be held from 3 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, 23 February at the Secretariat Yangon, located on Theinbyu Road, Yangon. It will be organized collaboratively by the Indian Women’s Association in Yangon and the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network, with support from the Embassy of India.
In addition to this upcoming event, the Indian Embassy held the 2025 World Hindi Day celebrations on 10 January to promote Hindi language learning and appreciation in Myanmar. — ASH/MKKS
