UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, inspected the construction sites of infrastructure and studios for the production of television programme broadcasting conducted by Forever Yay Wati Company Limited in Pindaya Township of Danu Self-Administered Zone yesterday morning.

Project Director U Thein Tun Aung of the company first briefed the construction processes.

The Union minister said the ministry provides the required assistance to develop the film industry, and the project is established to promote the film standards and regional economy through the films. The government allocated the land plots for the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization for the emergence of film city. It is difficult to promote the film industry. Therefore, it needs to follow the rules and regulations as the investment amount is very large.

He then mentioned the benefits after completion of the project like creating job opportunities in Pindaya called for collaborative actions, and stressed the need to operate proper agricultural farming in possible project land areas for environmental conservation and greening.

The Union minister and chief minister observed the project procedures, soil conservation, greening processes, studios, recreational centres and filming complex by car. Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn donated 20 MRTV DTH dishes and 50 DVB T2 set-top boxes for the Danu Self-Administered Zone.
