A fresher welcome ceremony was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the University of Haka in Haka Township, Chin State, at 10:00 a.m. on 25 February.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nwe Thin Ni, Pro-Rector of the University, delivered a welcoming speech and introduced the heads of departments and other officials.

Following this, the respective department heads welcomed the first-year students and introduced the academic programs for their specializations.

The event continued with the presentation of students who achieved the highest marks. A fresher then spoke on behalf of the new students, expressing gratitude. The ceremony concluded with a performance of Chin traditional dances and songs by the new students.— Ko Salai
