SENIOR General Min Aung Hlaing and Russian Security Council Sec­retary Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu held talks about the enhance­ment of bilateral relations.

 

Chairman of the State Administra­tion Council Prime Minister Senior Gen­eral Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in Moscow of the Russian Federation to pay an official visit, held talks with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu at his meeting hall yesterday morning.

 

On arrival at the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Russian Feder­ation, the Senior General and his en­tourage were cordially welcomed by Security Council Secretary Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.

 

At the meeting hall, they frankly discussed improvement of relations between the two countries, promotion of cooperation in security measures, attendance of Myanmar delegates to the ceremony to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Victory over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow, and invitation to Myanmar delegations to the security forums.

 

The Senior General conferred the Sithu Title of Pyidaungsu Sithu Thinga­ha Title on Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.

 

Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council Member General Nyo Saw, Un­ion Minister at the Ministry 1 of the SAC Chairman Office National Security Ad­viser Admiral Moe Aung and Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Linn Ohn. — MNA/TTA
