UNION Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Tin Oo Lwin, met Mr Harishchandra Ghimire, Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar, at the Union Min­ister’s reception hall yesterday afternoon.

During the meeting, they dis­cussed matters relating to the upcoming “Nepal-Myanmar Part­nership in Digital Transformation Programme”, scheduled to be held in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw in March 2025. The Nepali side expressed an interest in inviting ministry officials responsible for Information and Technology (IT) to participate in the programme.

Additionally, they exchanged views on potential collaborations between the two countries in uti­lizing IT solutions to enhance ser­vices in the religious and cultural fields.

The meeting was also at­tended by Permanent Secretary U Myint Oo and other relevant officials. — MNA/MKKS
