State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Com­mander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior Tatmadaw of­ficers from the Office of the Command­er-in-Chief, the Eastern Command com­mander and officials, yesterday morning visited the Tatmadaw hospital in Aung­ban of Shan State (South). He comforted Tatmadaw members and people’s militia (local) troops who were receiving medi­cal treatment.

 

At the meeting hall of the hospital, the commandant of the hospital reported to the Vice-Senior General on healthcare services being provided to Tatmadaw members and people’s militia (local) troops as well as residents and fulfilled the requirements of the hospital. The Vice-Senior General gave necessary instructions and attended to the needs.

 

The Vice-Senior General cordially conversed with Tatmadaw members and people’s militia (local) troops who sus­tained injuries in serving defence and se­curity duties of the State and asked them about the progress of their health con­ditions. He then presented foodstuffs to the patients. Likewise, Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, comforted patients receiving medical treatment at the maternity and child medical wards and presented foodstuffs.

 

The Vice-Senior General also pre­sented gifts and cash awards to health staff serving at the hospital through of­ficials. — MNA/TTA
