A ceremony to offer certificate of passing the examination took place at Maha Thukhazawtika Monastery of Zawtikayon Pali Tekkatho Monas­tery in Pyay of Bago Region yesterday.

Chairman of Bago Region (West) Sangha Nayaka Committee Presiding Patron of Zawti­kayon Pali Tekkatho Monastery in Pyay Aggama­ha Pandita Bhaddanta Sumangala delivered a speech on the occasion.

Venerable members of the Sangha present­ed certificate to eight monks for passing the government Nikaya exam, 16 monks in the gov­ernment Dhammacariya exam, and other monks and novices in the Pahtamalat and Pahtamange exams and relevant religious examinations.

The ceremony was attended by Chair of Pariyatti Sasana Nuggaha Association U Thein Tan (Karaweik robe house), secretary U Tin Win Naing (Lin Yaung Chi gold shop), exec­utives and members as well as those from religious organizations in Pyay. — Maung Shwe Win (Pyay)/TTA
