THE Ayeyawady Foundation, which has been actively in­volved in humanitarian mis­sion in earthquake-affected re­gions, is clearing debris of the Masoeyein Taikthit Monastery in Mandalay, which was severe­ly damaged by the earthquake.

 

Working alongside local authorities, the Foundation has deployed heavy machinery from Max Myanmar Construc­tion to clear debris.

 

Besides, the Foundation donated K75 million for the medical treatment of 49 in­jured monks, K15 million for the 500 student monks, K35 million for 10 days of meals, and 250 bags of rice. A total of K140 million in donations has been made to support those af­fected by the disaster. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
