THE Dawbon Township Women’s Affairs Com­mittee, Botahtaung Dis­trict, organized a seminar aimed at protecting wom­en from human traffick­ing, violence, and child sexual abuse yesterday in the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Depart­ment.

 

Dawbon Township Management and Ad­ministration Committee Chairman U Htoo Htet made an opening speech, Township Police Head Police Major Thein Zaw Hlaing delivered informa­tion on human trafficking awareness, while Depu­ty Law Officer Daw Thet Myat Noe Swe made a talk on violence against women.

 

Students attending the event actively asked questions, which were an­swered and discussed by the responsible officials.
