THE Dawbon Township Women’s Affairs Committee, Botahtaung District, organized a seminar aimed at protecting women from human trafficking, violence, and child sexual abuse yesterday in the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department.
Dawbon Township Management and Administration Committee Chairman U Htoo Htet made an opening speech, Township Police Head Police Major Thein Zaw Hlaing delivered information on human trafficking awareness, while Deputy Law Officer Daw Thet Myat Noe Swe made a talk on violence against women.
Students attending the event actively asked questions, which were answered and discussed by the responsible officials.
