Wundwin, 8 September

An inauguration of a new fire service station was held in Shawbin Village, Wundwin Township in Mandalay Region on 7 September.

The event was attended by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Maung Soe, Regional Lawmaker for No. 1 Constituency U Soe Min Htet, Commander of the district fire brigade U Kyaw Hsan, Township Administrator of the General Administration Department U Myo Tint, Chairman of the township development committee U San Min Aung, departmental officials, village administrators and residents totaling 150 people.

The new fire service station measures 45 ft. long, 50 ft. wide and 26 ft. high and is of a two-storey reinforced concrete facility and was built with the allotted funds of the regional government in the fiscal year 2018-2019.—Bo Bo (Mahlaing)
