A ceremony to open a new 50-bed extension and staff housing was held at the compound of the hospital in Einme Township, Myaungmya District, Ayeyawaddy Region this morning.

At the event, Dr Soe Win, the region Minister of Immigration and Human Resource Development, Dr. Than Tun Aung, Deputy Director General of the Department of Public Health, District Administrator U Thaung Tin Htwe, No. 1 region Hluttaw Representative Daw Yi Yi Tun, No. 2 region Hluttaw Lawmaker U Aung Kyaw Myaing and community leader U Thein Lwin cut a ribbon to open the new extension and staff housing.

Afterwards, Dr. Soe Win and Dr. Than Tun Aung delivered speeches and community leader U Htein Win spoke words of thanks. Then, officials looked round the hospital and staff housing.

The two-story 50-bed Hospital measuring 150 ft. in length and 56 ft. in width was built by spending K 441.9 million allocated by the regional government.—Chit Thet Le, Township IPRD
