With the aim of raising awareness among youths of the danger of drugs, public talks headlined “Youth and Scourge of Drugs” were conducted at the hall of Jodaung B.E.H.S in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region yesterday.

At the event, the region Hluttaw Representative Daw Khine Khine Win gave a speech and an official from the Township IPRD clarified the purpose of the talk.

Then, officials from the township Police Station, Public Health Department, Fire Service Department and Basic Education discussed the danger of drugs and answered queries raised by the students.

Altogether 400 people including the region Hluttaw Representative, departmental officials, teachers and students attended the talks.—Kyaw Myaing, IPRD
