Mandalay Region Minister for Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation and Chairman of Mandalay Region Disaster Management Committee U Myo Thit attended a ceremony to provide cash and kind to earthquake victims.

The event was held at a religious building in Thabeikkyin Township on 2 December. The regional minister heard reports on damages of the earthquake which hit on 28 November presented by Township Administrator U Myo Nyunt Aung.

Next, Director of the Department of Disaster Management U Aye Min Thu presented relief items and Ks. 168.5 million for the earthquake victims through the township administrator.—Soe Naing Win (Thabeikkyin)
