Dimawhso, 8 December

A fire drill was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about the natural disaster at a market in Dimawhso Township, Kayah State yesterday evening.
    

The event was jointly organized by the Fire Services Department and Myanmar Red Cross Society. At first, the deputy commander of the township fire brigade disseminated knowledge about the risks of fire. Next, firefighters explained fire safety measures and demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area. Afterwards, demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers and conducted the first aid drill by using fire engines, water tankers and fire extinguishers.
 
Then a rescue and evacuation drill was orchestrated by firefighters with the involvement of students, teachers, departmental staff and local people.—Riyal (Dimawhso)
