Laymyethna, 9 December

A fire drill was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event at a police station in Aithabyu Village, Laymyethna Township in Ayeyawady Region on 8 December.

At first, the commander of the township fire brigade U Zaw Myo Htay disseminated knowledge about the risks of fire. Next, firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area. Afterwards, demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers and conducted the first aid drill by using fire engines, water tankers and fire extinguishers.

Firemen also shared knowledge about carrying out relief and rescue operations for the disaster victims.—Shwe Moe (IPRD)
