A ceremony to put a concrete road into use was held at the entrance of the road in Kuambi Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State this morning with an opening speech by Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Cho.


Then, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Saw Aung Myo Myint explained the construction works of the road. Afterwards, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Cho, MP of Amyotha Hluttaw U Saw Chit Oo, the township Administrator U Min Thein and staff officer of the township DRD U Saw Aung Myo Myin cut a ribbon to formally open the road and inspected it. 


The road measures 2320 feet in length, twelve feet in width and six inches in height was built by spending K 34.2 million allocated by the regional government.—Khin San Myint, IPRD
