A flag hoisting and saluting ceremony to mark 72nd anniversary of Independence Day will be held in front of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall in Nay Pyi Taw at 7 am on 4th January.

The ceremony will be broadcast live, starting from 6:40 am by the Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV), MITV, Up to Date, Channel 9, MNTV, MRTV-4, Myawady Television (MWD), Myanma Radio, Ministry of Information Facebook Page, MRTV Facebook Page and Myanmar Digital News Facebook Page.
