With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted a basic motorcycle repair course at the Dhamayone in Thitwanpu Village, Thabaung Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

 

On the occasion, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Thein Tun and the township Administrator U Myo Naing delivered introduction speeches. Then, an official from the township DRD clarified the purpose of the course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income for their families after finishing their training course.

 

Afterwards, course instructor U Maung Zaw introduced the subjects to be taught to the trainees in the training course.

 

The one-month training course is being attended by 25 trainees from Thitwanpu, Kyakaung and Thapyaygon villages in the township.—Soe Moe Kyaw, Township DRD
