With a view to creating job opportunities for rural women, the Department of Rural Development organized a vocational sewing course at the Monastery of Aungsu Village in Taundwingyi Township, Magway Region this morning.
First of all, the Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Aung Kyi Nyunt and MP of regional Hluttaw U Win Myint Hlaing delivered speeches. Then, staff officer of the township DRD U Win Naing clarified the purpose of the training course and urged the trainees to apply the lessons learnt in the training to generate more incomes for their family after finishing training course.
Then, course instructor Daw Myint Myint introduced the subject to be taught to the trainees in the training. The one-month training course is being attended by 30 trainees from Yaypya and Kyumauk villages in the Township.—U Soe Moe Kyaw, DRD
