With the aim of preventing the ward from floods triggered by blocked gutters in rainy season, construction of concrete gutters is under way along Parami road in ward-4, South Okkalarpa township in Myanmar’s commercial city of Yangon, Yangon region.

On January 6, Pyithu Hluttaw representative Dr. Saw Naing together with engineer-in-charge of the township development committee, ward-4 administrator and members of National League for Democracy inspected construction works on the project at the worksites and discussed the need for the works with responsible persons.—Nay Htet Aung
