A ceremony to open a new sub-Election Commission office was held at its office on Maga Road in ward-11 in the town of Thongwa, Yangon Region this morning.

At the event, U Kyi Myint, Chairman of Yangon Region sub-election commission, U Thein Hline, Chairman of Yangon southern district sub-election commission, U Chit Ko Ko, Chairman of the township sub-election commission cut a ribbon to formally open the new office and unveiled the signboard of the office and sprinkled scented water on it.

The new office measuring 45 ft. in length, 50 ft. in width was built by spending K 43.2 million allocated by the regional government.—Si Thu Lin
