Pwintbyu, 9 January

A total of 20 houses in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region were evacuated to safety places this morning due to the collapse of Ayeyawady River bank.

With the help of officials from the Township General Administration Department and local residents, totaling 20 houses- including 12 houses in Myingyansu village and 8 houses in Htoo village were relocated to safety places and no casualties were reported in the incident.
