Union Minister for Defence Lt-Gen Sein Win received the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Ms Virginia Gamba at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At the meeting, they discussed matters concerning continued cooperation with the Country Task Force on Monitoring and Reporting-CTFMR in efforts to end child soldier recruitment, strengthening the bilateral cooperation machinery, ways for keeping minors off the Tatmadaw recruitment list, and further action after they are excluded from the list.—MNA
