In order to improve road transportation in Pale township, Yinmarpin district, Sagaing region, road works have been carried out with the use of over K 670 million allotted in 2019-2020 fiscal that starts on 1st October and ends on 30th September, according to the township Rural Development Department.
In Thetkalkyin-Banbwe road section, Ya Naung company has been building a box-culvert with the use of K 7.64 million, an earth road with the use of K 52.58 million, a submerged road with the use of K 75 million, a tube with the use of K 1.41 million, a concrete bridge with the use of K 27.39 million.
Besides, the company has been upgrading a dirt road to a quarry road in Nwe Shauk-Pan Ywa road section in Pale-Gangaw motor road with the use of K 117.3 million, a dirt road to a quarry road with the use of K 101.98 million in Myagone-Thittaya-Kyaeningyi-Nadaw Mauk road section, according to Junior Engineer-1 Daw Nan Khaing Thinzar from the township RDD.
Hluttaw representatives, members of the township development committee, members of the township road works quality assessment group and engineers from the district and township RDDs will make frequent inspections in order to ensure the road works being implemented by the companies meet the set standards, according to the township RDD.—Min Khant Soe (Zayar Myay)
