Thanlyan, 21 January

A ceremony to provide cash assistance to war veterans who have lost their body parts such as legs and hands for the country was held at the office of the township war veteran association in Thanlyan Township, Yangon Region on 19 January.

On the occasion, Chairman of the township war veteran association Major Kyaw Moe Kyi (Retd) explained matters relating to provision cash assistance to the war veterans, amputees, and their family members.

Afterwards, the chairman and executives of the township war veteran association presented cash aid to the war veterans and an amputee spoke words of thanks.—Thet Khaing (Thanlyan)
