Pwintphyu, January 24

A meeting to discuss responsibilities and rights of the township sub-election commission was held at the office of township sub-election commission in Pwintphyu township, Magway region this morning.

At the meeting, U Aung San Myint, chairman of the township sub-election commission said that the meeting was called to discuss matters concerning the successful holding of 2020 general election, urging the commission members to rightly perform the tasks by rightly practicing power invested in them. Then, staff officer Daw Tin Tin Soe elaborated on laws, regulations and procedures to be abided by members of the township sub-election commission.

Afterwards, members of the township sub-election commission presented works to be done on their part. The meeting came to an end with the guidance made by the chairman of the township sub-election commission.—Ye Win Naing (Nyaung Oo)
